Terms of Service
Last updated October 22, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Roxstar Labs ("we") for using Logasaurus on the web, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS. By creating an account or using Logasaurus you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. You are the pilot in command of your records
Logasaurus is a record-keeping tool, not an authority. Currency, totals, progress toward certificates, audit flags, FAR 117 duty and rest figures and everything the assistant says are aids to help you keep your own records. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, for example if an entry is wrong, a rule changed or a regulation has an exception we don't model.
You remain fully responsible for the accuracy of your logbook under 14 CFR 61.51, for knowing whether you are current, qualified and legal for any flight, and for every decision about whether and how to fly. Check the regulations, your certificates, your operator's rules and official sources before you rely on anything Logasaurus shows. Never use Logasaurus for navigation, weather decisions or in-flight safety of flight.
2. Electronic signatures
Instructor signatures in Logasaurus are electronic signatures that are tamper-evident, per AC 120-78B: each one is tied to the exact entries it covers, and any later change to a signed entry shows the signature as no longer valid. Logasaurus is not FAA-approved, and the FAA does not approve or endorse electronic logbooks. Whether a signature or record is accepted is up to the FAA, an examiner, an employer or another reviewer. Instructors are responsible for what they sign.
3. AI features
AI features (Ask your logbook, Talk to log, paper scan) are optional and use OpenAI only after you allow it. Numbers in answers are calculated from your logbook by our own code, and suggested changes are saved only when you approve them, but AI can still misunderstand a question or a page. Review every answer, draft entry and import before you rely on it, and use "Report this answer" when something is wrong. Fair-use limits apply on every plan.
4. Plans, the free trial and renewals
- One free trial. New pilots can try Pro free for 30 days. You add a payment method when the trial starts; if you don't cancel before it ends, the subscription you chose starts and you are charged on day 31. Each pilot gets one free trial.
- Pro is $6.99 a month or $59.99 a year (US dollars, plus any tax). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel.
- Cancel any time. Web purchases: Settings › Plan and billing › Manage subscription. App Store or Google Play purchases: in that store's subscription settings, under that store's terms. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. [Refund policy for web purchases: to be confirmed by counsel.]
- Student plan: free until your logbook reaches 50 total hours (imported flights count). It then ends automatically and doesn't restart.
- Founders Lifetime ($249, one time) is limited to the first 100 pilots and gives Pro, with the same fair-use limits, for as long as we operate Logasaurus. [Meaning of "lifetime" to be confirmed by counsel.]
- Airline pack ($29.99 a year) is an add-on to Pro or Founders and renews like a subscription.
- Paper import ($79, one time) covers one paper logbook history, with fair use around 1,000 pages.
- Prices can change; a new price applies from your next renewal after we tell you.
5. If your plan ends
Your logbook stays viewable and exportable, forever and for free. Logging new flights and syncing pause until you have an active plan again. We never hold your data hostage.
6. Your content
You own your logbook and everything you put in it. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run Logasaurus for you (for example to sync it, calculate totals, answer your questions and make your exports). You can export it at any time and delete it at any time. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, such as someone else's private records.
7. Fair and lawful use
- Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Don't misuse the service: no falsifying records or signatures, no impersonating an instructor, no attempts to break, overload or reverse engineer it, no reselling access.
- Don't create accounts to get around plan limits or the one-trial rule.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we do, we'll let you export your logbook unless the law prevents it.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings or at logasaurus.app/delete-account. Deletion is permanent. Store subscriptions must be cancelled in the store.
9. Disclaimers and limits
Logasaurus is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on it. [Liability cap, governing law and dispute terms to be drafted by counsel.]
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect; continuing to use Logasaurus after that means you accept it. Questions: support@logasaurus.app.
